The Green House

"When we build, let us think that we build forever. Let it not be for present delight nor for present use alone. Let it be such work as our descendants will thank us for; and let us think, as we lay stone on stone, that a time is to come when those stones will be held sacred because our hands have touched them, and that men will say, as they look upon the labor and wrought substance of them, “See! This our father did for us."

My goal is to save every historic structure possible. I always start by removing the "band aids" that have been placed over the last 100 years or so, and then I start from scratch. In every C.D. Wright restored home you will find new plumbing, wiring, repair or replacement of structural damage, and the finest of materials are always used. I never cut corners despite time or expense. My goal is to provide a quality home that will last another 100 years.

These are some shots from when I first purchased the home

Kenzie spread the word, alright. I likes too. I'm currently living in an old cottage-style home built in 1919 in Southern Idaho. Those old homes are great! Is this home in the valley? I'll keep an eye out for you.

I guess it would help if I could read. Willard is a great place to live. Nice find.

You do a great job. You should post photos of your own home you did.
